Adam Tang is General Manager - China Sales. Adam is responsoble for leading the China Sales team in Shanghai and Beijing, to grow revenue and market share by developing partnerships with Chinese aiirlines partners and maximizing the performance of our China flights. Adam joined Delta in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2006 and held severral management positions in Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Management, and Sales Development. In Septer 2013, Adam moved to Tokyo, Japan from Atlanta, Georgia, and held the position of General Manager, Sales Planning & Analsysis where he was responsible for Delta's Asia Pacific Sales commission, corporate discount and sales programs and operations. Prioer to Delta, Adam was a Financial Analyst with a major educational service company in Iowa City, IA.  Adam holds an MBA and a Master's degree in accounting from University of Iowa and a BA from Hohai University.

Albert Zhong
General Manager of

Albert leads China Travel Management Services Co., Ltd. a joint venture between China Air Service (CAS) and Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT). He spent five years working overseas when he was transferred to Hong Kong as a business development manager for CAS. He also managed passenger sales at the CAS head office in Beijing before his current appointment. He spent five very successful years in CAS leading sales and customer services and established a strong relationship with both domestic and international airlines. Under his leadership, CAS established a dedicated team servicing corporate clients in 1997 in partnership with CWT. The team contributed significantly to the growth of CAS’ corporate business, which, by 2003, became the core business of the CAS/CWT China joint venture in 2003.

  Alvan Aiau
Vice President, Global Sales & Global Program Management, Asia Pacific
Carlson Wagonlit Travel


Alvan first joined CWT in 2012 as Senior Director, Sales and Program Management Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. In 2014, he served as interim General Manager and Senior Director, Traveler Services for CWT's newly-established operations centre in the Philippines, before being promoted to Vice President Global Sale and Program Management in the same year. Based in Singapore, Alvan has responsibility for managing CWT's extensive client base in the Asia Pacific region and for delivering solutions that add value to the travel programmes of global corporations. Prior to joining CWT, he was Head of Ocean Freight in DHL Global Forwarding, first in Shanghai, then Singapore, managing delivery of complex off-shoring projects, operational improvement initiatives, as well as management of supplier and vendor relations.

  Akshay Kapoor

Akshay is responsible for leading CWT Solutions Group Asia Pacific, CWT's regional consulting business, and is based out of Singapore. He is responsible of growing the consulting practice in Asia Pacific. Within CWT Solutions Group, his role includes client facing leadership and other responsibilities suc as employee engagement, profitability and regional financial results. Since joining CWT in 2011, Akshay has worked in various roles in Europe as well as Asia Pacific businesses of CWT. Akshay reports to Christophe Renard, Vice President, CWT Solutions Group with a dotted line to Kai Chan, President, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Asia Pacific. Akshay loves to travel and has an avid interest in the airline industry. Akshay holds an MBa from Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, India and a Masters In European Business (MEB) from ESCP Europe Paris, France.

Amy is presently Deputy General Manager of Hotel Business for Alitrip, the travel arm of Alibaba Group. Prior to this, she held positions with P&G (China) in client management and business development, P&G (Hong Kong) in market strategy and planning as well as PepsiCo (China) in nationwide channel management. She has also held a senior management position in eLong, a subsidiary of global online travel company Expedia. Through hands-on experience, Amy has developed keen insights into web and mobile innovation, travel trends, sales strategy, market development, channel and client management, end-user retail as well as product category management. Amy graduated from Zhejian University in 2004. She is currently enrolled in China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the EU-China Tourism Industry Association.

Benson Tang
Regional Director, Asia  
Association of Corporate Travel Executive (ACTE)


Benson has been the Regional Director, Asia for ACTE for the past two years. Before joining the team, he spent 11 years with Goldman Sachs Asi LLC as the person responsible for the region's corporate travel programme. He also has experience in numerous other travel industry sectors, having worked for Cathay Pacific Airways, The Hong Kong Tourist Association Canada Office (now called Hong Kong Tourist Bord) and Farrington Travel. Benson is curretly pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management with first class honours. His Master's Degree is from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

As the Travel & Event Service Manager of the Procurement department of Lilly China, her expertise lies in policy and category strategy executive, market forecasting and demand management. Sheis also responsible for driving the delivery of efficient and cost effective processes across all functions nationwide. Brenda graduated from Tong Ji University with a major in tourism marketing.

Carol has been with Lenovo for nine years, managing the company's China travel service as well as EMEA regional travel service. Having held various roles in Lenovo, Carol's experience ranges from sourcing for products and services to support the marketing, workforce, IT and HR functions, to leading Lenovo's China travel programme. While overseeing the company's local travel programme between 2014 and 2015, she actively participated in a Global Hotel RFP exercise and a Global TMC transition project. From 2016, Carol added the EMEA travel programme to her portfolio, managing the TMC, hotel, air and ground transport sourciing for the region.

Christian is a French-German national with extensive international experience in tourism and travel. He joined Qatar Airways in 2007 to manage the airline's group booking policy and system. He later developed Qatar Airways QMICE, a one-stop shop solution for association and corporate buyers, professional congress organisers and their designated travel agents, who can register online and submit discount requests for their participants travelling to events in Doha and anywhere across the network.

In her current role as Regional Travel Head for Unilever Industries, she has responsibilities spanning 21 countries in the region. She has received numerous honours and accolades for her work, including the Chairman's Award for Excellence & Quality as well as the Outstanding Partner Award for Negotiation Skills, Major Savings and Driving Ideas.

Hamish is in charge of corporate business travel and meetings sourcing and management for Apple in the region. Before he took on this role, he spent over four years with GE China as Indirect Sourcing Leader of Travel and Living / MICE/ EHS in Greater China and Mongolia. His responsibilities included corporate travel management including airline, hotel, car rental and MICE as well as marketing and communications, environment, health and security solutions in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Mongolia. Hamish has 10 years of experience in the airlien and civil aviation industries as well as sales and marketing background. He holds an MBA (Aviation Management) from RMIT University, Australia.

Jim founded Shanghai E-travel in 2011 and has served as General Manager ever since. Shanghai E-travel is headquartered in Shanghai with branch offices in Hong Kong and Australia. The company specialises in supporting foreign medium-to-large enterprises with corporate travel management and expense management solutions. It has provided corporate travel and expense reporting systems to major enterprises like Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, China Unicom and Geely Automobile, and corporate travel management solutions to clients such as Carlson Wagonlit Travel, HRS, AirPlus, Tempus International and more. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the corporate travel industry, having previously served as BCD Travel's General Manager - China for 16 years.

  Jiqin Fang

Mr. Fang has served in a number of managerial positions at Ctrip since 2002, including Senior Sales Director, General Manager of the Branch Office, and in November 2011 Vice President. He became the CEO of the TMC Division in January 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Fang worked with BizExpress International Ltd. from 1999 to 2000. Under Mr. Fang's effective leadership, Ctrip's TMC Division has been named the "top corporate travel management company in China" by Travel Weekly.

In her current role, Kiki is responsible for the optimisation of Travel and Entertainment policy with Finance Shared Services. In addition to travel optimisation, she also identifies cost saving opportunities and oversees the implementation of travel polcy across the Asia Pacific region. She maintains positive relationships between suppliers and the company and ensures that quality service is delivered. Kiki also leads the company's hotel RFP exercises and is involved in corporate meetings and events.

Lucy began her career at Standard Chartered Bank in Beijing. In 10 years, she worked her way to become department head of the bank's credit card business. In 2002, she joined the Mainland China headquarters of Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) as Assistant Vice President for regional credit card acquisition. With her banking experience, Lucy was recruited by AirPlus International in 2005 as its first Chinese employee for country development. With her knowledge, expertise and strong local network, she built a successful business strategy for AirPlus' market entry to China. With the establishment of AirPlus Payment Management Co. Ltd in early 2008, she was appointed as Managing Director - a role she continues to hold today.

Matthew leads Pan Pacific Hotels Group's Global Sales Office in Shanghai, with responsibilities to manage key clients in South and East China and to grow the market to raise sales revenue for PPHG's worldwide hotels. He was previously Key Account Director, Greater China for InterContinental Hotel Group, where he developed key MICE accounts in Shanghai to generate business volume for IHG's global properties. His expertise spans across the leisure, MICE and corporate segments. Prior to IHG, Matthew was with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Michael was appointed by Carlson Wagonlit Travel as Senior Leader of CWT Meetings & Events, Asia Pacific in March 2015. He leads a dynamic team of over 280 meetings and events experts across the region in delivering events, venue sourcing, group travel and Strategic Meetings Management solutions to a portfolio of multinational clients. He has extensive experience in the meetings and events space, having held numerous leadership and business development roles in prestigious hospitality and events management companies. Prior to joining CWT, Michael was Managing Director, Greater China and a member of the regional management board for Imagination Group, one of the world's largest experiential marketing agencies. He was instrumental in the successful integration of the China and Hong Kong businesses and establishing Imagination as one of the premier events agencies in Greater China.

Philip Shi

Mr. Philip Shi was appointed as Managing Director Greater China of HRS in January 2016. He will lead China team of HRS to explore the market and enhance the product system, and also support HRS' expansion strategy in APAC. Philip's career at HRS started 3 years ago as the Director of Hotel Solution responsible for Hotel acquisition and content optimization in China office. By building strong relationship with players in the travel industry such as hotels, travel agencies, and e-commerce platforms, he expanded the hotel coverage of HRS to all the tier one to tier four cities, which meet the travel demands of 40,000 corporate clients of HRS globally. He has not only brought HRS hotel coverage to next level but also gained experience in all aspects of HRS and the hotel industry. He was frequently invited to deliver speech on various industry events and forums to share the insight of business travel and hotel industry. Mr. Philip Shi graduated from China Europe International Business School and got the MBA degree. Before joining HRS, Philip had gained 10+ years proven track record selling B2B solutions focusing IT and hotels.

Received managment education from Fudan University. Served as sourcing leader in General Electric. With 14 years of sourcing experiences from GE, Rachel built up a substantial enterprise procurement knowledge. As the leader of the sourcing team, she greatly improved efficiency and saved cost. As a senior procurement leader, Rachel understands the problems of enterprise procurement. Rachel joined Merak with the desire of better assisting MICE procurement professionals with internet technologies. Régis belongs to CWT's Global Product Innovation team. This team of 'intrapreneurs' is in charge of identifying and experimenting emerging opportunities for CWT and its clients. Areas of research range from optimising savings and end-to-end traveller experience to big data. In particular, Régis has been focusing the past two years on Virtual Assistant and Artificial Intelligence. He's also working closely with Worldmate, a mobile software company acquired by CWT in 2012. Prior to his current role, Régis held several positions within CWT including Traveler Services, Finance and IT. He is based in Paris and holds a master degree in Hospitality and Tourism.

Based out of Shanghai, Remington oversees Hilton Worldwide's entire sales operations across Greater China and Mongolia, which includes property sales, ISO & NSO organisation. Remington is responsible for the development and execution of Hilton Worldwide's sales roadmap in China, which supports both existing and new hotels, enhances the entire pre-opening process and drives growth in its outbound business from China to our portfolio of global hotels. Prior to his current role, Remington was Greater China Commercial Strategy Director at Diageo, spending a total of seven years at the international spirit manufacturer. He also held positions as a management consultant at top management consulting firms, including Bain & Company and A.T. Kearney. Remington received a Master / Bachelor in Economics from Fudan Universiry and an MBA from INSEAD in France.

He has managed major client accounts for over 10 years, using keen industry insights to understand and cater to clients' needs in a competitive market. Su Yi has more than 14 years of working experience in supply chain management, of which 10 years have been dedicated to Indirect Procurement. This has allowed her to develop in-depth expertise in the procurement of a variety of commodities ranging from Travel to Machinery & Equipment, Marketing, Spare Parts, Logistics, Special Services and more. Before joining Schneider Electric about four years ago, Su Yi held roles in Hewlett-Packard, Nortel, Siemens and Delphi.

In her role, Winnie is responsible for developing, managing and innovating the Asia Pacific region travel programme and global travel policy for Applied Materials. Prior to Applied, Winnie served as the Global Travel Manager for Standard Chartered Bank, Indirect Procurement Manager for Unilever and APAC Travel Procurement Manager for Procter & Gamble under IBM. She started her travel industry career with hotels and airlines, working in various operations and sales roles. These experiences have provided her with a holistic view of the industry and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the corporate travel and expense management space.
